- Your device (for example, iPhone 15) and iOS version (Settings → General → About).
- The app version (shown on the App Store page).
- The level number and what happened, with a screenshot or screen recording if you can.
Common questions
I'm stuck on a level.
Every vault can be solved, and turning a ring back always undoes a move. Look for a pin sitting in another ring's gap: that ring is jammed until you nudge the pin's ring a little. Tap Hint for the next move, use X-Ray to watch three moves, or start over with Settings → Restart level.
There's no sound.
Check that Settings → Sound is on in the game, that your volume is up, and that your iPhone isn't in Silent mode (the switch or Action button). If sound stops after a phone call, tap the screen once to wake it.
My progress or gold rings disappeared.
Progress is stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes your progress, and it doesn't transfer between devices. If it vanished without deleting the app, please email us with your device model and iOS version.
How do stars and gold work?
Finish at or under par for 3 stars and 5–10 gold rings (double on boss vaults). Close to par earns 2 stars and 1 ring. Anything else, or using the Bomb, earns 1 star and a booby prize. Each vault pays once, but a better replay pays the difference.
I ran out of hints.
Buy 3 hints for 50 gold rings in the stash (tap the gold counter or the green + on the Hint button). Your first 3-star crack of each vault also gives a free hint.
Does Ring Bandit need the internet?
No. The game plays fully offline.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later.
How to play, in 20 seconds
Drag a ring to turn it around its centre. Clips hold rings; brass pins can only pass through a neighbour's gap. When a ring is jammed, nudge a neighbour a little to make room. Free every ring and the vault opens by itself. There's no timer and no move limit.
